Special Events/classes & Sale at Karen's Quilting Corner

Hi everyone,

Check out our WEBSITE www.karensquiltcorner.com to see our entire class selection and check back often for any updates and additions.  I would like to highlight three special events/classes that are coming up.

On Saturday, February 1 Sharon Shorey is teaching Paper Piecing.  You’ll be making a sampler of Sharon’s miniature patterns.  This is a wonderful opportunity to learn this technique from Sharon. 

Super Bowl Sunday.  On Sunday, February 2 Jim Brown is having a class on “Fractured Square”.  It’s a wonderful scrap quilt that is Jelly Roll or Fat Quarter friendly.  We’ll even provide the pizza.

Charlene Adams is offering a 2 part class on creating a Quilted Jacket.  The first session will be Saturday, February 15.  You will start the process of creating your jacket.  At the second session on Saturday, March 15, you will complete the jacket.

Sharon, Jim and Charlene are all accomplished quilters and have held many workshops and classes in the area. We're thrilled that they are sharing their expertise and some of their tips and techniques  There are samples for these classes (and our other classes) in the shop and online.  Come in and check out all of our classes and the scheudule for our Open Sews.  Call the shop and reserve your spot.

This Saturday, January 25 is “Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day”.

To celebrate we will offer free Open Sew sessions on both Saturday 1/25(10:00am-5:00pm) and Sunday 1/26(12:00pm-4:00pm).  Bring one of your projects to work on in the shop.  Our space is limited so please call to reserve a space.

 In addition, on both Saturday 1/25 and Sunday 1/26, we will offer a 15% discount on fabric, kits, notions, patterns, gifts and books.  Finished quilts, classes and gift certificates are not included.
