Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and wishing you the best for 2015.

Now that we've settled into winter (yes, it's a bit cold out there) and are back to our regular schedule, it's time to take some time for yourself.  Treat yourself to something special.  We have some great classes coming up.  Take a look at what we're offering over the next few weeks.    Sign up with a friend or come meet new ones.

FUN with Precuts:         Saturday, January 10, 10:30am-4:00pm

Can’t resist buying those beautiful precuts at your quilt store and then don’t know what to do with them? Well, Carol loves precuts too and she's put together a series of classes made just for you. Beginning in January, each month we will offer a class using a different precut. January’s class will use a layer cake (10” squares).   It’s called Teacup (check out the photo) and was featured in one of the latest Missouri Star Quilt Company's magazine. We have a sample in the store made with the Moda’s Atelier collection. February’s class(Tipsy Tumbler, Saturday 2/21) will use charm squares (5” squares) and a layer cake. March’s class will use a jelly roll (2 ½ strips). Come join us to make simple quilts the modern way.  We'll have more information regarding the February and March classes available soon.  The cost is $25.  You'll need to purchase the pattern.

                                      

Sue Pritt-Moon Lake:         Saturday, January 17, 9:30am-3:30pm

We're really excited to have Sue Pritt return for another class.  Sign up for a workshop with designer/teacher, Sue Pritt. Learn or brush up on techniques of raw-edge fusible applique, free motion quilting, and quilting 'as-you-go'; with hints, tips and fun throughout the day! This is her newest design!  Stop in the shop to see the sample.  It's stunning.  The cost is $35 and you'll need to purchase the pattern.

There is some homework...selecting, fusing & cutting fabric, so sign up soon and get started.

 
                                                

SuperBowl Sunday – Jelly Roll Race 3, Sunday February 1, 10:30-4:00pm

We found a cute quilt in one of the newer Missouri Star Quilt Magazines called Jelly Roll Race 3. It's the newest in the series of this strip quilt with contrasting triangles between the strips. Use a Jelly Roll or cut your own strips (we can help if you want).   Well also throw in some surprises.

The class is $35 and includes the pattern/book and some snacks.  Join Betsy for a fun day!!
