News and Weekend Sale at Karen's

Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather. Can you believe that it’s already Memorial Day weekend?
We’ll be open our regular hours Friday & Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 12-4pm but we’ll be closing a bit early on Monday May 30,10am-5pm.
There are quite a few things going on at the shop.
MA Shop Hop Starting June 1 you can sign up for the 2016 MA Shop Hop which will be October 14-16.
The theme is THE WILD WEST and includes 6 of your favorite Quilt Shops in Western MA. You can find more information on our website.
Row by Row Row By Row starts June 21.
This year’s theme is HOME SWEET HOME and we coordinated our row with Our fellow MA Shop Hop shops. Individually the rows are great but together they are stunning (picture will be posted on the WEBSITE soon). Here is our row:

Other News
Betsy is busy planning more classes for the summer and fall. There will be classes for machine quilting, beginners, pre-cut, bags & wallets, table runners and a special event in September. They’ll be another email giving the details but you can always check out the WEBSITE for the most up to date information.
Fabric continues to arrive on a regular basis. We're even starting to get our holiday fabric. Stop in and see what's new. Marlene, Carol and Jean are busy making samples.
The Quiet Valley Quilters in Bennington are sponsoring a Bus Trip to the Vermont Quilt Festival in Essex Junction, VT on Saturday, June 25. The cost will be $35. If you would like more information you can contact Linda Toohey at Linda2e@myfairpoint.net.
Finally, we decided to have a quick sale. Friday, May 27- Monday, May 30 all fabrics will be 20% off. This includes pre-cuts and our sale rack (no coupons/other discounts).
